Nicki McNamara

Special Counsel

Nicki graduated with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Canberra in 2007.  She was admitted as a solicitor to the New South Wales Supreme Court in 2010.  She further developed her taxation law expertise, and achieved a high distinction when completing postgraduate studies through the School of Taxation and Business Law at the University of New South Wales.

Nicki joined the Kells team in 2017, and has considerable experience providing Australian taxation advice to clients including small to medium enterprises, family run businesses and large corporates.  

Nicki's area of practice are taxation, commercial, corporate and business law, and she is passionate about advising on:

  • Business structuring
  • Due diligence
  • Commercial contracts
  • Funding arrangements
  • Wills, powers of attorney and appointment of enduring guardians
  • Unit trusts and discretionary trusts
  • Trust deed variations and trustee changes
