Legal Assistant

Kells has an exciting opportunity for a career oriented Legal Assistant. We are seeking a full time, permanent, legal administrative assistant, to join our busy Wollongong based Residential Property team.


About the role

This role will support a highly successful team of lawyers and licenced conveyancers.


Duties will include

  • opening and closing files 
  • making appointments and diary management
  • scanning, photocopying and general administration
  • taking and making telephone calls 
  • invoicing
  • preparing letters and emails
  • occasional reception relief
  • preparation of contracts for sale and purchase of land


The right candidate will

  • have previous office experience 
  • be keen to learn new things 
  • be happy to work in a team environment
  • be highly organised and can prioritise tasks well
  • have great interpersonal skills
