About
Karsandra is a lawyer in in our business, commercial and corporate law practice based in our Wollongong office. She grew up in Wollongong and is known for her ambitious nature.
Karsandra joined Kells in 2018 as a Law Cadet and has worked in several practice areas whilst undertaking her studies at university. It was through Kells’ Cadet Program that Karsandra found her niche and decided to pursue practicing commercial law.
What she does
Karsandra has experience acting for clients across a range of commercial matters, including:
- acting on the sales and purchases of business and companies
- advising on issues of corporate government and compliance, privacy and confidentiality
- preparing negotiating and advising on commercial and retail leases for both landlords and tenants
- preparing, reviewing, negotiating and advising on commercial contracts such as share sale agreements, service agreements, contractor agreements and consultancy agreements
- establishing and registering companies and setting up discretionary trusts
- advising on and registering trademarks for companies
- reviewing finance and security documentation from financial lenders.
Karsandra also has previous residential property experience in a range of matters, including:
- preparing and advising on contracts for sale of land
- acting on the sale and purchases of properties, including vacant land and strata properties
- recording and discharging registered dealings and mortgages on properties.
Karsandra thrives on providing pragmatic advice to help all businesses and clients reach practical solutions.

Qualifications
Karsandra holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting (Distinction) from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Life Outside Kells
Outside of the office, Karsandra enjoys spending time shopping with friends and having long afternoon barbeques with her family. Almost every weekend Karsandra will be at the beach walking her Spoodle or adventuring on a new hiking track.
