About
Taylah is a lawyer based in the family law team in our Wollongong office. She grew up on the coastal beaches of California and Wollongong and is known to be reliable, motivated and compassionate. Prior to her admission as a lawyer, Taylah joined Kells in 2018 as a Law Cadet working in various practice areas whilst completing her studies at university. This experience allowed her to develop a passion for family law and a diverse skillset to assist families to navigate the complexities of their relationship breakdowns.
What she does
Taylah works with clients across a broad range of family law matters including disputes relating to property settlements and parenting arrangements, applications for divorce and defacto relationship breakdowns. Taylah is particularly passionate about resolving property settlement disputes and helping clients to understand the legal process in complex financial matters. Taylah is motivated to provide pragmatic advice and help clients to reach practical solutions.

As a family lawyer it is important to be able to use my knowledge of the law to simplify the legal process for our clients and provide them with sensible advice to help them make informed decisions and achieved their desired results. I understand at times people may not know where to start following a relationship breakdown and I strive to help clients navigate their disputes from start to finish in a practical way, so that they can feel confident and supported throughout the process”.
Qualifications
Taylah holds a Bachelor of Laws (Distinction) and Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Human Resource Management (Distinction) from the University of Wollongong and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law.
Life Outside Kells
Outside her busy schedule, Taylah has a passion for reading (strictly non-legal books), is a local martial arts instructor and relaxes by spending time with her family and friends.
